GRANT ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • The following eligibility criteria must be met:

    • Must not have previously received a grant from RSA.
    • Full-time resident of the State of California.
    • Average grade of "C" (GPA 2.00) on completed college work (waived if first semester)
    • Satisfactory work Performance within a Security organization/ discipline/ process as defined by your company structure and confirmed by your manager (waived if unemployed but you can document your work performance within Security field) and
    • Educational goal preferably of a Security related discipline. (This might include degrees in Computer Security, Information Security, Personnel Security, Physical Security, Business Continuity, Fire, Health and Safety, and Security Management.) Other professional degrees or programs are acceptable if they will assist your Security career. (These might include Business Administration, Finance, Liberal Arts, or field related to your place of employment ie a Security person working at a Chemical plant working on a Chemistry degree)
    • Must be willing to let RSA announce the grant on our website, identify you, your place of employment, and your educational goals.
