Research Security Administrators (RSA) was founded in 1956, as a nonprofit regional security organization. RSA is guided by a board of directors comprised of twenty-two security executives. Eleven of the board members are represented in Southern California and eleven board members are represented in Northern California. There are no memberships, only a mailing list; therefore, there are no dues.
RSA is concerned with all defense, technical, scientific, and social matters which have an impact on the security of the United States.
Through its Board of Directors, RSA strives to advance technical knowledge and related topics of concern to the contemporary security professionals and their associates. To this end, RSA hosts two seminars annually, held in alternating locations between the Northern and the Southern California.
In addition, RSA is dedicated to improving the security management profession through the academic process. Our seminars, position papers, and academic grants are in the furtherance of that objective.
Questions regarding RSA may be directed to any member of the Board of Directors.
